After incurring a loss a couple of weeks ago, Terrance McKinney will have an opportunity to return to the win column, much quicker than expected.

McKinney (13-6) took on Nazim Sadykhov at the UFC’s July 15th, Las Vegas card, and was submitted in round two. The lightweight has reportedly agreed to fight Mike Breeden at UFC Vegas 78, which is taking place on August 12th.

Breeden (10-5) was originally scheduled to fight Landon Vannata, who withdrew due to injury. The new match-up was initially reported to MMA Junkie by McKinney’s manager, Oren Hodak.

Prior to facing Sadykhov, McKinney was KO’d by Ismael Bonfim in January. The 28-year-old has gone 3-3 in the UFC to date.
