Report: UFC Heavyweight Champ Junior dos Santos Signs Endorsement Deal With Nike Brasil

Junior dos Santos continues to become a significant sport’s commodity, as the UFC Heavyweight Champion has reportedly signed an endorsement deal with Nike Brasil. As a result of the signing, the 28 year-old, Brazilian fighter joins UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones who also have deals with the sporting goods giant.
No terms of the deal, which was reported first by SporTV.Globo.com, were announced.
Dos Santos is currently preparing for a rematch with former champ Cain Velasquez, which will take place December 29th, at UFC 155 in Las Vegas. In their first encounter at UFC on FOX 1 last November, dos Santos ended the American’s reign as champion by stopping him in the first round.
More recently, at UFC 146 in May, dos Santos put away former champion Frank Mir in the second round with strikes.
Dos Santos has won nine straight fights in the UFC to extend his overall record to 15-1.
