By FCF Staff
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added one of Europe’s top fighters to its roster, as it’s being reported the promotion has signed Jiri Prochazka.
ESPN is reporting that UFC officials and Prochazka’s manager have confirmed that the Czech Republic has signed a multi-fight deal with the organization.
The 27-year-old Prochazka (26-3-1) heads to the UFC having won 10 straight fights. All ten of those bouts took place under the RIZIN FF banner, where Prochazka was the light-heavyweight champ. During that run “Denisa” defeated notable names like “King Mo” Lawal, Brandon Halsey, Fabio Maldonado and most recently C.B. Dollaway.
A date and opponent for Prochazka’s UFC debut has yet to be determined.
