Report: UFC Veteran Mikey Burnett And Son Shot During Robbery Attempt

Former UFC fighter Mikey Burnett and his son were reportedly shot during a robbery attempt in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday.
According to a report from News on 6, the 41 year-old Burnett and his son were shot as they left a gym. Burnett was reportedly shot three times and his son Freddy, was hit once. Both men are expected to survive.
The report says that Burnett’s son attempted to fight off the robbers after they shot his father.
Burnett fought three times in the UFC and went 2-1. The Lion’s Den fighter retired having gone 5-2 in pro MMA.
