Report: UFC’s Bobby Green Accuses Donald Cerrone of Making “Racist” Comments, Acting Inappropriately With Fans
By FCF Staff
Although Bobby Green will no longer fight Donald Cerrone at UFC 178, the lightweight has levelled some serious allegations against the veteran contender.
Green, who was set to fight Cerrone next month until the latter was booked to fight Eddie Alvarez, appeared on the latest edition of “The MMA Hour.” During the interview, Green reportedly accused Cerrone of “groping” women fans at a recent UFC Expo.
In addition, Green accused Cerrone of directing racist comments at him (quote via MMA Fighting.com):
“He just said some racist stuff,” Green claimed. “He said stuff like, random racist stuff like ‘we gotta check him, we gotta check him, you know how black people like to steal.’ I’m like ‘what the,’ and I’m getting hot in front of thousands of people, all these people are here for the signing and they’re going ‘ohhhh’ and ‘ooooh’ and ‘ahhh.'”
Cerrone has yet to respond directly to the accusations, but the lightweight has re-tweeted comments from others which praise the fighter for being friendly, etc.
