Appears as though Vitor Belfort’s final fight will likely take place against fellow vet, Nate Marquardt.

Following Belfort’s (25-14) stoppage defeat to Kelvin Gastelum in March, which was the Brazilian star’s third straight, he announced his next fight would be hist last.

More recently, Combate reported that Belfort and Marquardt have verbally agreed to fight on June 3rd at UFC 212. MMA Fighting is also reporting that the fight is targeted for UFC 212.

Marquardt (35-17-2) dropped a unanimous decision to Sam Alvey in his last bout, which took place in January.

UFC 212 will be headlined by a bout between featherweight champ Jose Aldo and interim champ Max Holloway.
