Ronda Rousey to Play Guest Role in NBC’s “Blindspot”
By FCF Staff
It remains to be seen if and when Ronda Rousey will fight again, but in the interim, the star has landed a guest role on NBC’s “Blindspot”.
The former bantamweight champ’s first appearance is expected to air sometime in early May. According to multiple reports, Rousey will play “DEVON PENBERTHY: a female prison inmate who grew up in a working class family from the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and is serving time for transporting weapons across state lines. She is a tough, athletic woman who knows how to fight and handle a weapon.”
Rousey is coming off a quick, stoppage loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December. That fight marked the first time Rousey had fought since 2015, when she was knocked out by Holly Holm.
After UFC 207, Rousey announced she was taking some time to consider her future in fighting.
