Sean O’Malley will no longer fight Marlon Vera at UFC 239 as scheduled, as “Sugar” has announced the Nevada Commission has temporarily suspended him.

According to O’Malley, who made the announcement via the social media post below, trace amounts of Ostarine have been found in his system. O’Malley tested positive for the banned substance last year. But, since the levels were consistent with those found in contaminated supplements, the 24-year-old received a reduced, six-month suspension.

O’Malley (10-0) hasn’t fought now since March, 2018, when he defeated Andre Soukhamthath at UFC 222 by decision.
