Tuesday, January 23 — Chris Cordeiro joins us to discuss this past Saturday’s Battlejax 4 fight card at Club 5 in Jacksonville, Florida. Fighter Eddy Rolon joins us to discuss his come-from-behind victory this past Saturday night for the IFC Battleground 2001 Heavyweight Championship with a toe lock submission.
Wednesday, January 24 — Today we preview two upcoming fight cards that will take place this week. DiBella Entertainment’s "Night of The Olympians" will be held at Madison Square Garden this Saturday, January 27, in which 2000 Olympic boxers Ricardo Williams, Jr., Jermain Taylor, Clarence Vinson, Michael Bennett, Jose Navarro, Dante Craig, and Jerson Ravelo all will make their pro debuts. We plan to open our show with a report from today’s press conference at the Garden. Also, the Fight Zone returns tomorrow night, Thursday, January 25, to the Crystal Gardens in Southgate, Michigan, and we will speak to promoter Dave Gomez and several fighters on that mixed martial arts card, including Angelo Popofski.
Thursday, January 25 — The combat sports world is still abuzz about the sale of UFC to the new Zuffa company. Today we find out more about the new UFC from the man who will oversee its day-to-day operations, Dana White. And the "Voice of the Octagon" Bruce Buffer joins us to discuss what to expect in the new UFC, and to offer his observations from his many travels to all sorts of fighting events all over the world, including some recent comments from a prominent boxer on UFC. Hint: the boxer is the best-known active fighter on the planet.

Miguel also reports on this coming Saturday’s HOOKnSHOOT "Quake" mixed martial arts show, to be held at the Memorial Coliseum in Evansville, Indiana. Also, Mansour Heidari, a 1988 Olympic wrestler from Iran, won this past Friday’s IFC light heavyweight tournament championship with two victories by submissions. Today Mansour speaks with us.
