Terence Crawford was pushed much harder than many people predicted on Saturday, but the renowned boxer added yet another championship to his already, historic, resume.

Crawford faced Israil Madrimov for the WBA super welterweight title, and captured the belt via scores of 115-113, 115-113, and 116-112. The 36-year-old Crawford, who was the undisputed champion at light welterweight and welterweight, moved his record to 41-0 with the win. Crawford has also held world titles at lightweight.

The 29-year-old Madrimov, meanwhile, incurred his first pro-defeat and now holds a record of 10-1.
