Tonya Evinger

UFC 214 has undergone a significant change, approximately one out from the July 29th card, as the promotion’s announced Tonya Evinger will now face Cris “Cyborg” Justino.

Justino was scheduled to fight Megan Anderson for the vacant, featherweight title. But, the UFC is reporting that the latter has withdrawn from the fight due to personal issues. As a result, the Invicta FC  135 champ Evinger has agreed to step up and face “Cyborg”.

The 36 year-old Evinger makes her way to the UFC riding an 11 fight, undefeated streak.

UFC 214 will take place in Anaheim, California, and will be headlined by Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones II.
