It looks like the decision to broadcast another episode of “The Ultimate Fighter” on a Sunday night, instead of a Wednesday paid off, as FOX Sports is reporting that last Sunday’s TUF 22 show drew big ratings.

The latest season of TUF features Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber as coaches, and according to a press release from FOX Sports, last Sunday’s episode pulled 2.016 million viewers. That’s a 15% boost of what last year’s, NFL Sunday episode of TUF drew.

In addition, the broadcaster is reporting that this past Wednesday’s episode drew 538,000 viewers. The fourth episode of TUF 21 this past spring pulled only 286,000 viewers.
