TUF Nations Finale: Tim Kennedy Outwrestles and Outscores Michael Bisping
By FCF Staff
Tim Kennedy recorded his third straight, UFC victory tonight in Quebec City, as the middleweight worked his way to a unanimous decision win over fellow contender Michael Bisping.
Both Bisping and Kennedy landed several telling shots during the five round, headliner, but the latter’s wrestling and grappling was the difference. Kennedy was able to take Bisping down on several occasions, and although the British fighter defended well, Kennedy controlled from the top for multiple minutes.
After the bout both men complimented each other for their toughness, ending an apparent feud that captured headlines leading up to the fight.
