After plenty of call outs and verbal exchanges, Michael Bisping and Tim Kennedy will finally battle in the Octagon on April 16th. The promotion announced Thursday that Bisping has been medically cleared to fight the middleweight at the TUF Nations Finale card, which will be hosted by Quebec City’s Colisee Pepsi.

Bisping (24-5) hasn’t fought since last April, when he scored a technical decision win over Alan Belcher at UFC 159. The 34 year-old, British fighter, has been recovering from eye surgery he underwent last year to repair a detached retina. Bisping is 3-2 in his last 5 contests.

Kennedy (17-4) is coming off a KO win over Rafael Natal at Fight for the Troops III in November, which marked the decorated soldier’s UFC debut. The 34 year-old American has won three straight and is 4-1 in his last 5 fights.

The TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia Finale will also feature a bout between the show’s coaches Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke.

Earlier Thursday the promotion also announced that lightweight Mark Bocek will fight Evan Dunham at the event.
