Following the news that Tyson Fury has been forced out of his upcoming bout with Oleksandr Usyk, the boxing champ’s team has shared an image of the cut that’s responsible.
Fury was scheduled to fight Uysk on February 17th in a fight that would determine the undisputed heavyweight champion. But, recently Fury’s team confirmed via social media that the English fighter incurred a cut while sparring and can no longer fight this month.

Fury (34-0) is coming off a tightly contested, split decision win over Francis Ngannou in October. Due to the damage Fury took in that bout, a December 23rd date for the Usyk fight was cancelled.
Usyk (21-0), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since August when he stopped Daniel Dubois.
Fury currently holds the WBC heavyweight title and Usyk is the WBA, IBF, and WBO champ.
