Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler engaged in a memorable slugfest tonight at UFC 171, and not surprisingly, the welterweights earned “Fight of the Night” for their efforts.

Both men collected an extra $50,000 for the bout, which saw Hendricks take the vacant welterweight belt via unanimous decision.

“Performance of the Night” awards, and an extra 50 grand each, went to Ovince St. Preux and Dennis Bermudez.

St. Preux choked out light-heavyweight Nikita Krylov with a highlight reel Von Flue Choke, and Bermudez stopped Jim Hettes in round three with a series of strikes.

UFC 171 was hosted by the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
