UFC 179: Scott Jorgensen’s Picture Shows Result of Wilson Reis’ Kick
By FCF Staf
Scott Jorgensen officially lost via an arm-triangle-choke to Wilson Reis at UFC 179, but a pounding body kick from the latter is what led to the flyweight’s submission defeat.
Following Jorgensen’s loss to Reis on Saturday, the veteran fighter posted the following tweet, which vividly depicts the impact of the blow.
Hats off to Wilson. That shit hurt. I thought I had him when I dropped him. #waitingtogetxrayinUSA pic.twitter.com/8udKLaUedQ

Reis was momentarily floored by Jorgensen early on in their scrap, but not long after, he blasted the latter’s midsection with a kick and then secured the fight ending choke.
Jorgensen was coming off a unanimous decision win over Danny Martinez heading into the bout, while Reis scored a UD victory over Joby Sanchez prior to Saturday’s card.
