UFC 183: Anderson Silva And Nick Lead Way in Salaries
By FCF Staff
The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the payroll figures for UFC 183, and as one would expect, headliners Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva led the way.
According to the salaries, which were disclosed to the NSAC, Silva collected $800,000 for his decision win over Diaz. The latter earned $500,000 for the bout.
The next highest earner was Tyron Woodley, who took home $139,000 for his UD victory over Kelvin Gastelum. Woodley’s figure reflects the 30% fine which was levied against Gastelum, after the welterweight missed weight.
John Lineker also forfeited 30% of his purse to flyweight Ian McCall, due to missing weight on Friday.
