Thales Leites ended up having a lucrative night at UFC 183, as the middleweight picked up not one, but two performance bonuses.

Leites faced fellow, middleweight contender Tim Boetsch, and ended up choking out the powerful fighter with a second round, arm-triangle-choke. Leites took several, hard shots during the memorable bout, and was even knocked down not long before the fight ending choke.

As a result, Leites picked up a “Performance of the Night” bonus and “Fight of the Night” honors, which came with $50,000 each. Boetsch also collected an extra $50K.

The other “POTN” went to Thiago Alves. The vet was picked apart by Jordan Mein throughout the opening frame, but he put away the promising welterweight with a crushing, kick to the body in round two.

UFC 183 was hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
