Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar

Speculation as to whether Brock Lesnar is returning to the Octagon was spiked by his attendance at UFC 184 yesterday, but Dana White says there’s nothing new to report, about the former heavyweight champ.

Lesnar remains under contract with pro-wrestling’s WWE, and since his deal is reportedly ending soon, there’s has been considerable talk as to whether he could return to the UFC.

Well, when White was asked about Lesnar’s appearance yesterday by FOX Sports 1, the UFC President said the following (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“He’s a fan of fights. He wanted to come watch the fights. When his contract is up with the WWE, he can come talk to me.”

The 37 year-old Lesnar hasn’t fought in MMA since 2011, when he was stopped by Alistair Overeem. After the defeat the decorated, collegiate wrestler said he was retiring from MMA competition.
