UFC 184: Mark Munoz Dreams of Fighting at Promotion’s Philippines Debut

Mark Munoz is booked to fight Roan Carneiro on February 28th at UFC 184, but the veteran middleweight isn’t planning on taking some time off, after his next bout. The reason being that on May 16th, the UFC will hold its first event in the Philippines, and “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” dreams of fighting on it.
The 36 year-old Munoz recently spoke to UFC.com about the upcoming event, and when asked if foresees a problem fighting on it, since he will compete later this month, the contender stated:
“No, it’s not a problem,” Munoz said. “I’m all about that.”
“You could say a lot of thought or no thought at all went into that answer,”
Munoz is looking to rebound from consecutive losses to Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi, after he decisioned Tim Boetsch in 2013.
UFC 184 will be hosted by the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The promotion’s May 16th card will be hosted by the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila.
