Henry Cejudo will look to continue his climb up the flyweight rankings at UFC 188 this weekend, when the Olympic Gold Medalist wrestler takes on veteran, Chico Camus. It’s a pivotal fight for both men, as Cejudo currently sits at #8 in the promotion’s 125 division, while Camus is ranked #13.

Cejudo has defeated Dustin Kimura and most recently Chris Cariaso since joining the UFC, and has pushed his pro record to 8-0. Recently “The Messenger” spoke to UFC.com about this Saturday’s fight, and here is some of what he had to say about Camus.

“I think with Chico, it’s going to be an interesting matchup,” Cejudo said about Camus. “He does a lot of movement. He moves and potshots. I expect a lot of movement, a lot of dancing, a lot of showboating with him putting his hands down, but I’m a guy you don’t want to do that with.”

Camus (14-5), meanwhile, is coming off a split decision over Brad Pickett, after he was decisioned by Chris Holdsworth. The 28 year-old Cejudo also relayed the following during the interview:

“I feel ready for any fighter. I feel ready to fight for the belt. I’m definitely not somebody you want to take lightly. I’m a ticking bomb that is just waiting to blow up.”

UFC 188 will be hosted by the Mexico City Arena in Mexico on June 13th.
