UFC 195: Robbie Lawler Narrowly Gets by Carlos Condit
By FCF Staff
Robbie Lawler remains the UFC’s welterweight champion after the promotion’s latest event tonight, but the veteran fighter narrowly escaped with the title.
Condit kept Lawler on the defensive throughout much of the fight with a cavalcade of kicks and punches, and as round five started, it appeared as though Lawler would need a stoppage.
The champion came out firing and outscored Condit in the final round, and after the bout it was announced he had defended the belt via split decision. Lawler proceeded to credit Condit for his toughness and skill, and said he’d be willing to fight the contender again,
