UFC 197: Daniel Cormier Outlines How OSP Can Beat Jon Jones
By FCF Staff
As Ovince Saint Preux prepares to take on one of the greatest fighters MMA has ever known, Daniel Cormier has outlined how the light-heavyweight contender could score an upset victory over Jon Jones.
Following the withdrawal of Cormier from UFC 197, due to a leg injury, Saint Preux agreed to step on short notice and face the former champ. On the latest edition of “UFC Tonight“, Cormier was asked to breakdown how OSP can defeat Jones, and the latter’s rival stated (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):
“Don’t be where Jones expects you to be. Go out there and throw everything at Jon Jones and hold nothing back. Be diverse and elusive. Make Jones guess what’s next. Saint Preux can hurt people going backwards, but he needs to put Jon on his heels a little.”
Saint Preux has gone 7-2 in the UFC to date, and the explosive fighter has scored finishes in five of them,
UFC 197 will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
