Max Holloway will be the next man to face Jose Aldo, as the surging featherweight stopped Anthony Pettis tonight at UFC 206 to secure the promotion’s interim title.

Holloway rocked Pettis with a right hand in round three, and brought about the stoppage with a flurry of punches. Afterwards, Pettis relayed that he broke his right hand moments into the bout. The former lightweight champ also said that the cut to 145 is too difficult, and that he’ll be returning to 155. The victory was Holloway’s tenth in a row.
