Daniel Cormier and Volkan Oezdemir will battle in the Octagon next Saturday at UFC 220, but recently the light-heavyweights traded shots via social media,

After Oezdemir posted an image on Instagram, which showed Cormier down and out on the mat, the champion responded.

Oezdemir is coming off back-to-back, knockout wins over Misha Cirkunov and Jimi Manuwa.

Cormier hasn’t competed since he was knocked out by Jon Jones in July, but that fight was overturned to a no-contest, after the latter tested positive for banned substances. Jones has denied knowingly taking any type of performance enhancing drug.

UFC 220 will be hosted by the TD Garden in Boston.
