Khabib Nurmagomedov secured the UFC’s lightweight title last night via a clear cut, decision win over Al Iaquinta, but Tony Ferguson wasn’t impressed with what he saw.

Nurmagomedov dominated the early rounds with his vaunted wrestling and grappling, but in the middle frames, Iaquinta managed to defend a couple of takedowns. After five rounds of action, Nurmagomedov was awarded the title via scores of 50-44, 50-43, 50-43.

Following the event, however, Ferguson tweeted out this:

Ferguson was scheduled to fight Nurmagomedov on Saturday, but was forced to withdraw last week, after incurring a knee injury.
