UFC 225: CM Punk Says He’d Book Himself For “First Fight on Fight Pass”
By FCF Staff
As CM Punk’s latest main card, pay-per-view, spot approaches, criticisms regarding the UFC’s decision is likely surging. But, according to the former pro-wrestling star, he’d book himself for the Fight Pass prelims at UFC 225, if it was his call.
Punk is booked to fight Mike Jackson at the June 9th card, which will take place in his native Chicago. The fight will mark the first time Punk has fought since his highly publicized, pro debut in September, 2016. Punk was quickly submitted by Mickey Gall during the UFC 216 fight.
Recently the legendary Mark Coleman responded to a fan on Twitter, who was criticizing Punk’s PPV slot at UFC 225. The latter responded with the following:
I understand too. If it was up to me, I'd be first fight on fight pass. Don't matter to me. Fans like to be outraged by stuff that doesn't matter. (Appreciate the support Mr. Coleman!!!!! You're truly the man)
