UFC 297 Results: Dricus Du Plessis Takes Title in War With Sean Strickland

Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis went to war at UFC 297 as many expected would be the case. But, it was the latter who emerged with the middleweight title.
Following five rounds of constant and competitive action, which saw both men bloodied, two of the judges scored the fight for Du Plessis.
In the card’s other title fight, Raquel Pennington secured the vacant women’s bantamweight title, by recording a unanimous decision win over Mayra Bueno Silva.
