UFC 311: Jamahal Hill – Jiri Prochazka Fight Booked
By FCF Staff
Former light-heavyweight champions Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka will look to get back to the win column in a fight against each other.
Both Hill and Prochazka are coming off KO losses to the UFC’s current light-heavyweight champ, Alex Pereira. Hill (12-2) was finished by “Poatan” in the first-round of their April fight. Prochazka (30-5-1), meanwhile, was stopped by Pereira in the second-round of their bout this past June.
During the recent UFC Fight Night broadcast it was reportedly announced that Hill and Prochazka will fight at the promotion’s January 18th card. Prochazka is also reporting via social media that he will battle Hill at the event.
Prior to his bout with Pereira, Hill had won four-straight fights, which included winning the light-heavywegiht title in January, 2023, by defeating Glover Teixeira.
Prochazka faced Pereira for the first time in November, 2023, and was also stopped in the second round. The former champ rebounded with a KO win over Aleksandar Rakic in April, 2024.
UFC 311 will be hosted by the InuitDome in Inglewood, California. The main event for the card has yet to be announced.
