Alexander Volkanovski is the UFC’s featherweight champion again, following a memorable battle with Diego Lopes on Saturday at UFC 314.

Volkanovski outstruck Lopes by a wide margin, and worked through a knockdown in round two, en route to a unanimous decision win. The legendary fighter was competing for the first time since he lost the featherweight title to Ilia Topuria in February, 2024.

Topuria vacated the belt earlier this year to pursue a run at lightweight.

In the co-main event, Paddy Pimblett punished and bloodied the always game Michael Chandler before stopping the former Bellator champ in round three.
