The UFC has announced its June 7th card in Newark, New Jersey, will feature not one, but two title fights.

Recently the promotion announced that former bantamweight champ Sean O’Malley will face the man who ended his reign, Merab Dvalishvili, at UFC 316. The card will also see women’s bantamweight champion Julianna Pena battle the decorated Kayla Harrison.

O’Malley (18-2) has not competed since he lost the title to Dvalishvili (19-5) via unanimous decision in September. The star, who defended the bantamweight title once before losing it, was sidelined due to hip surgery.

Dvalishvili, meanwhile, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Umar Nurmagomedov in January.

Pena (12-5) reclaimed the bantamweight belt in October by recording a split decision win over Raquel Pennington. Prior to that she dropped a unanimous decision loss to Amanda Nunes in 2022, which followed her submission win over the legend in 2021.

Harrison (18-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Ketlen Vieira in October. The former Olympic Judo gold medalist and PFL lightweight tournament winner has gone 2-0 to date in the UFC.
