The UFC has announced that its August 2nd, Fight Night card in Las Vegas will be headlined by a bout between flyweight contenders Amir Albazi and Tatsuro Taira.

Taira (16-1), meanwhile, is coming off his first pro-defeat. In October, the Japanese fighter lost via split-decision to Brandon Royval. Taira has gone 6-1 in the UFC to date.
Currently, Albazi is ranked #3 in the UFC’s flyweight division and Taira is ranked #5.
The August 2nd card will be hosted by the Apex facility.
