The UFC has announced that Jack Hermansson will battle fellow, rising middleweight contender Jared Cannonier next.

Recently the promotion shared out that the middleweights will battle in the headliner of UFC Copenhagen, which will go down on September 28th.

Hermansson (20-4) has won four straight bouts and in April, he worked his way to a decision win over longtime contender, “Jacare” Souza.

Cannonier (12-4), meanwhile, has defeated David Branch and former middleweight champ Anderson Silva in consecutive fights, after dropping down from light-heavyweight.

Some of the other fights expected for UFC Copenhagen include Ovince Saint Preux vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk, Gunner Nelson vs. Thiago Alves and Ion Cutelaba vs. Khalil Rountree.
