UFC Announces Jan Blachowicz – Carlos Ulberg Bout
By FCF Staff
After going throughout 2024 without competing, Jan Blachowicz has his next fight booked.
Recently, the UFC announced that the former light-heavyweight champ will battle rising contender, Carlos Ulberg, at the promotion’s March 22nd card in London, England.
Blachowicz (29-10-1) hasn’t competed since July, 2023, when he lost to Alex Pereira via split decision. The Polish fighter was scheduled to face Aleksandar Rakic this past January, but a shoulder injury sidelined Blachowicz. The veteran is 2-2-1 in his last 5 bouts.
New Zealand’s Ulberg (11-1) recently recorded a unanimous decision win over Volkan Oezdemir at the UFC’s November 23rd card in Macau, China. Ulberg has won seven straight fights.
The UFC has also announced that heavyweight contender Marcin Tybura (26-9) will face the undefeated Mick Parkin (10-0) at the UFC London event.
The headliner for the upcoming card has yet to be announced.
