UFC Closes Investigation on Travis Browne, Reinstates Fighter
By FCF Staff
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced that it’s closed its investigation of Travis Browne, after the process failed to find any conclusive evidence, regarding allegations of domestic abuse.
The heavyweight contender has been reinstated and is expected to fight again in the coming months.
In July, Browne’s wife Jenna Webb, accused the heavyweight of assaulting her. The UFC placed Browne under temporary suspension and launched an investigation into the allegations.
According to a follow up statement from the UFC, a former FBI agent who was hired by the promotion, determined “the results of the investigation are inconclusive to support the claims of alleged domestic violence involving Browne.”
The 33 year-old Browne is coming off a stoppage loss to Andrei Arlovski in May.
