As expected, the UFC has confirmed that Mark Hunt will take on fellow heavyweight contender Frank Mir on March 20th.

The fight will headline UFC Fight Night 84, which will take place in Brisbane, Australia (and as a result the card will air in North America on the 19th).

Hunt (11-10-1) is coming off a first round, stoppage win over “Bigfoot” Silva, after dropping consecutive bouts to Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos.

Mir (18-10) is looking to get back on track after he was decisioned by Andrei Arlovski, which followed victories over Todd Duffee and the aforementioned Silva.

No other bouts yet have been announced for the card.
