UFC FN 35: Luke Rockhold Takes Out Costas Philippou
By FCF Staff
Luke Rockhold got back on the winning track in impressive fashion tonight at UFC Fight Night 35 in Duluth, Georgia, as the former Strikeforce champ quickly took out middleweight contender Costas Philippou.
Not long after the fight’s two minute mark, Rockhold stunned Philippou with a hard kick to the body along the Octagon fence. A moment later, Rockhold blasted Philippou with another left kick to the midsection, which floored the middleweight and prompted the referee’s intervention.
After the fight, Rockhold called for a rematch with Vitor Belfort, who stopped the AKA fighter in his UFC debut last May.
