(Updated) UFC FN 36 Weigh-In Results: Machida-Mousasi Headliner Set
By FCF Staff
Here are the official weigh-in results for tomorrow’s UFC Fight Night 36 card in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil, which will see Lyoto Machida battle Gegard Mousasi in the main event.
Machida came in at 185 pounds for the bout, while Mousasi tipped the scales at 186.
Machida (20-4) will be looking to build on his knockout win over Mark Munoz in October, which marked the former light-heavyweight champ’s middleweight debut.
Mousasi (34-3-2), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since April, 2013, when he decisioned light-heavyweight Ilir Latifi. The decorated fighter is returning from knee surgery.
The only competitor who failed to make weight on their first attempt was featherweight Maximo Blanco, who came in at 147.9. The veteran has one hour to cut the additional weight.
