UFC Fight Night 39 will not feature a flyweight bout between Dustin Ortiz and Alptekin Ozkilic afterall, as the latter has been forced to withdraw due to an injury.

The promotion has announced that as a result of Ozkilic’s injury, Ortiz will receive a new opponent for a different card.

Ozkilic, who is coming off a decision loss to Louis Smolka in January, tweeted the following comment about his withdrawal:

Quick announcement. Had to pull out of my fight next week due to an injury. Apologizes to fans and my opponent. Ill be back asap

UFC FN 39 will go down in Abu Dhabi on April 11th, and will feature decorated heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira taking on Roy Nelson.
