Roy Nelson quickly put away the legendary Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira today at UFC FN 39, and not surprisingly, the slugger earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus for the win.

Nelson, who sent Nogueira crashing to the canvas with thundering right hand at 3:37 of round one, earned an extra $50,000 for the award.

The other “Performance of the Night”, and 50K, went to Ramsey Nijem, who stopped Beneil Dariush with a series of strikes in the opening round.

“Fight of the Night” went to Clay Guida and Tatsuya Kawajiri for their action packed bout, which saw Guida earn the unanimous decision win.

UFC FN 39 was hosted by the du Arena in Abu Dhabi, and was streamed online in North Americ via Fight Pass.
