The May 10th, UFC Fight Night 40 finally has its headliner, as the promotion has announced that Matt Brown will take on Erick Silva. The card will be hosted by Cincinnati’s U.S Bank Arena.

The five round bout was reported by FOX Sports and the UFC has retweeted news of the fight.

Brown (18-11) is coming off a quick, knockout win over Mike Pyle last August, after stopping Jordan Mein in April. The Ohio fighter is currently riding a six fight win streak which has positioned him at #7 in the UFC welterweight division.

Silva (16-4) quickly took out Takenori Sato with strikes at UFC FN 36 last month, and rebounded from the KO loss he incurred versus Dong Hyun Kim in October. The welterweight is 3-2 in his last five fights.
