Benson Henderson scored a submission win for the first time since 2010, tonight at UFC Fight Night 42, and the renowned fighter picked up “Performance of the Night” after doing so.

The former lightweight champ defeated Rustam Khabilov with a fourth round, rear-naked-choke, and was awarded an extra $50,000 for his efforts.

The other “POTN” went to lightweight Piotr Hallmann, who tapped out veteran Yves Edwards with a third round, rear-naked-choke.

“Fight of the Night”, and an extra $50K, went to flyweights Scott Jorgensen and Danny Martinez. Their entertaining bout saw Jorgensen emerge with the unanimous decision win.

UFC FN 42 was hosted by the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
