UFC FN 55: Luke Rockhold Takes Out Michael Bisping in Impressive Fashion
By FCF Staff
Luke Rockhold wasn’t able to finish Michael Bisping in the first round at UFC Fight Night 55 like he predicted, but the middleweight contender did take out his rival in impressive fashion.
After an opening round which saw Bisping get cut due to an accidental headbutt, Rockhold quickly floored the contender with a head kick in round two. The former Strikeforce champ followed up with a flurry of punches, and as Bisping attempted to get back to his feet, Rockhold finished the deal with guillotine choke.
After the bout Rockhold said his ill feeling towards Bisping was legitimate, but credited the veteran for being a “warrior.” Bisping, in turn, congratulated the middleweight for his performance, before promising he’s not going anywhere.
Here are the final results for UFC Fight Night 55, which went down in Sydney, Australia. Not one of the 11 fights went to the judge’s scorecards.
