UFC FN 60: Stephen Thompson Withdraws From Headliner
By FCF Staff
The UFC has lost another scheduled main event, as not long after it was revealed Chris Weidman has pulled out of UFC 184, the promotion has confirmed Stephen Thompson won’t fight at UFC FN 60.
According to the UFC’s official announcement, Thompson has been forced to withdraw from his February 14th headliner with Brandon Thatch due to a rib injury. The promotion is currently looking for a replacement opponent.
Thompson (10-1) is riding a four fight win streak and is coming off a decision win over Patrick Cote in September.
Thatch (11-1), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since November, 2013 when he stopped Paulo Thiago.
UFC FN 60 will be hosted by Broomfield, Colorado’s 1st Bank Center.
