After Chas Skelly was forced to withdraw from UFC Fight Night 70 on June 27th, the promotion has announced that Levan Makashvili has stepped in to fight Hacran Dias.

Skelly withdrew from the bout due to an undisclosed illness, according to the UFC’s official announcement.

Makashvili (7-1) is coming off a split decision win over Mark Eddiva last month, in what marked the featherweight’s UFC debut.

Dias (22-3-1), meanwhile, earned a UD win over Darren Elkins in December, after dropping consecutive bouts to Ricardo Lamas and Nik Lentz.

UFC FN 70 will be hosted by the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. In the main event, Lyoto Machida will take on fellow middleweight contender, Yoel Romero.
