Takeya Mizugaki

UFC Fight Night 76 will feature another of Japan’s top fighters, as the promotion has announced that the nation’s Takeya Mizugaki will take on American bantamweight George Roop.

The September 26th card will be hosted by Saitama, Japan.

Mizugaki (20-9-2) is looking to get back on track, as the rugged vet is coming off losses to Aljamain Sterling and Dominick Cruz. Prior to the defeats he had won five straight.

Roop (15-11-1) is coming off KO loss to Rob Font last July, after decisioning Dustin Kimura at the TUF Nations Finale in April, 2014.

UFC FN 76 will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Josh Barnett and Roy Nelson.
