UFC FN 77: Corey Anderson Steps in For Tom Lawlor
By FCF Staff
After defeating Jan Blachowicz last month, Corey Anderson already has his next fight, as the TUF 19 winner is replacing Tom Lawlor at UFC FN 77.
The UFC has announced that Lawlor has withdrawn from his November 7th bout with Fabio Maldonado due to injury. The nature of Lawlor’s injury was not disclosed.
Anderson (6-1) has gone 3-1 in official UFC action to date. Prior to his decision win over Blachowicz, he was stopped by Gian Villante in April.
Maldonado (22-8), meanwhile, is looking to get back on track after his decision loss to “Rampage” Jackson in April. The light-heavyweight is 5-5 in the UFC thus far.
UFC FN 77 will take place Sao Paulo, Brazil, and will be headlined by a middleweight fight between Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort.
