UFC Fight Night 77 has received a featherweight bout between two well established vets, as Clay Guida will take on Thiago Tavares.

The match-up was announced by UFC Brazil’s Senior Vice President and General Manager Giovani Decke on Instagram.

Guida (32-15) is coming off a decision win over Robbie Peralta in April, after he was submitted by Dennis Bermudez last summer. The seemingly tireless wrestler is 3-2 in his last 5 bouts.

Tavares (19-6-1) is looking to get back on track after he was stopped by Brian Ortega in June. Prior to that the former lightweight scored consecutive wins over Justin Salas and Peralta. Tavares is also 3-2 in his last 5 contests.

UFC FN 77 will be hosted by Sao Paulo, Brazil, and in the main event, Vitor Belfort will take on Dan Henderson.
