Petr Yan successfully continued his pursuit of another title shot today at UFC Macau, as the former bantamweight champ halted the rise of Deiveson Figueiredo.

Yan faced the former flyweight champ in the main event, and outstruck Figueiredo by a margin of 190 to 53, en route to a unanimous decision win.

The 31-year-old Yan (18-5) has won two straight now, after dropping consecutive fights to Aljamain Sterling, Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili.

The 36-year-old Figueiredo (24-4-1) had won three straight fights heading into today’s card, after moving up from flyweight in 2023.
